why polypropylene has good heat resistance

Polypropylene (PP) has good heat resistance. The heat deformation temperature of PP material is around 120°C, which is higher than many common raw materials. 1.High melting point: Polypropylene has a relatively high melting point, generally between 130°C and 171°C, which allows it to maintain structural stability in high-temperature environments.

PP materials are modified and processed to add a certain proportion of fillers. Taking PP+30% talcum powder filling as an example, the temperature resistance is improved to about 145°C.
