Chimei’s POLYLAC® ABS resin is a copolymer with styrene (SM), acrylonitrile (AN) and butadiene (BD) as the main raw materials. ABS has extremely excellent mechanical properties, dimensional stability, processability, chemical resistance and first-class appearance. These advantages make ABS resin an excellent engineering plastic. POLYLAC® is manufactured using Chimei's cutting-edge process and is known for its extremely low residual monomers. It has been widely used in the manufacture of machinery, electronic parts, electrical and household appliances, automotive parts, medical products, food and drinking water containers, construction materials, toys and sporting goods, and cosmetic containers. Chimei's POLYLAC® MABS resin is a copolymer based on methyl methacrylate, acrylonitrile, butadiene and styrene. It combines good transparency, processability, mechanical properties and dimensional stability. In order to achieve excellent transparency, we strive to ensure that the refractive index of the ABS and rubber substrates are consistent. MABS also has excellent impact resistance. This material can be used to make computer peripherals, home electronics, clear toy parts, household appliances, medical equipment, food and drinking water containers, and cosmetic containers. ASA is copolymerized from styrene, acrylonitrile and acrylic rubber. Technically speaking, ASA not only maintains the main characteristics of ABS, but also combines the weather-resistant advantages of acrylic, allowing the product's application to be extended to outdoor uses. With more than 30 years of experience in manufacturing ABS, KIBILAC® ASA has inherited the good quality and characteristics of Chimei POLYLAC® ABS. Chimei's KIBISAN® SAN resin is a copolymer composed of styrene (SM) and acrylonitrile (AN) (also commonly referred to as "AS resin"). It not only has the high transparency of GPPS, but also has higher chemical resistance and surface hardness than many other materials. KIBISAN® SAN resin also has uniform gloss and good heat resistance, stiffness and stability, while taking into account high strength and excellent processability. KIBISAN® products have been widely used in transparent cosmetic packaging. Thanks to its well-managed process, Chi Mei can produce KIBISAN® with high transparency stably and efficiently. In addition, we can also offer KIBISAN® with lower residual monomer content, which can be used in the production of food and drinking water containers. Chimei's POLYLAC® PS resin is a copolymer based on thermally polymerized styrene. High impact polystyrene (HIPS) composed of SM and butadiene (BD). HIPS is an opaque material with extremely high impact resistance. Thanks to its excellent processability, POLYREX® can be used in a wide range of household appliances, food and drinking water containers, toys and construction materials (especially electrical housings). Chimei Acrylic (ACRYREX) PMMA is successfully manufactured by Chimei Company, using its 30 years of experience in manufacturing acrylic sheets, introducing American continuous process technology, and using methyl methacrylate (MMA) as the main raw material. Molding compound has good weather resistance and heat resistance, extremely high transparency and gloss, and also has stable physical, chemical, optical and electrical properties. Chimei's WONDERLOY® PC alloy combines the properties of polycarbonate (PC) and acrylonitrile-butadiene styrene copolymer (ABS). PC elements can combine high heat resistance, high impact resistance, high rigidity and high tensile strength as well as halogen-free flame retardant properties. ABS elements ensure better processability, have higher impact strength in low temperature environments, and are suitable for electroplating processes. WONDERLOY® PC alloy has a low specific gravity that combines excellent mechanical properties, dimensional stability and high-quality appearance. This material can effectively reduce visible injection marks, can be applied to a wider range of injection molding conditions, and can also improve the maintainability of related equipment.
